New Boss By The End Of The Month
Coventry City are expected to appoint a new manager by the end of the month. A shortlist of seven candidates has been drawn up on a list includes current caretaker Adrian Heath and Macclesfield Town boss Paul Ince.
Refering to the former England and Wolves player,Paul Fletcher said to the CT: "I can't say whether the person speculated about is on the list or not.
"We are currently drawing up a short-list but we don't expect to make an appointment before the end of the month. "We are going through due process and will be interviewing in the next eight to ten days.
"Everything will be done through the correct channels and procedures and that may mean asking the permission to speak to any managers who are currently in jobs by getting our chairman to speak to their chairman."
Paul Ince said: "I don't know if Coventry are interested in me but I would be very flattered that a club with such a great history, great fan base and great stadium should be interested."
