Stuart Beavon has signed a new deal with Coventry City.
Beavon, who was signed by Russell Slade, for City, had the option to leave City following their relegation to League Two, but has opted, with clearly no better offers, to sign a deal which takes him up until June 2019.
City boss Mark Robins told Mark Hornby: “We are delighted that Stuart has signed a new contract. The agreement sees him extend his stay with us for a further year, with the relegation clause subsequently removed.
“Stuart has impressed me since we have worked together, and is a model professional with a tremendous attitude and can play a significant role moving forward.”
