The Coventry born striker was released by Micky Adams after coming through the ranks and being released in 2004, only to play for the reserves for nothing for a season in which he scored sixteen times and then be released again in 2005.
Reid joined Cheltenham Town in January 2007 but left at the end of last season due to limited first team opportunities.
Pre-season, he trialed with Accrington Stanley plus Oxford United and has now joined the Conference club for whom he is expected to make his debut against Eastbourne tomorrow.
