The Birmingham born striker came through City's Academy ranks and enjoyed a number of run-outs for City Reserves in their one season in the Pontins League before they were withdrawn by Ray Ranson.
West suffered a number of injuries and missed a lot of his last season as an Academy scholar due to injury. He was given an extra year but allowed to leave in March.
Another former City Academy player Liam Nicell has joined Brackley Town. He played for Rugby Town under former Sky Blue Tony Dobson last season.
