Coventry City manager Andy Thorn feels that the new faces of Hermann Hreidarsson and Alex Nimely in the squad has given everyone a lift.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said at the club’s weekly press conference; "It was really nice and refreshing to get out there and see some new faces training with us. They bring good quality to the side and it should raise the competition.
"Hermann (Hreidarsson) will give us plenty of experience and we need that. He is an organiser and a talker, and with the experience he has got, it will be great for us.
"Alex (Nimely) has come in to training today and freshened things. He is really lively and I am looking forward to seeing him do well.
"I think he gives us another option and it will make us as a team more potent as we have struggled in front of goal lately. It will completely freshen up our attack."
