Coventry City’s Carl Baker feels the 4-4-2 formation now being employed by City is working.
Speaking to the CT’s Andy Turner, Baker said: “I think the formation is suiting us really well. “Obviously we struggled at Forest but I don’t think that had anything to do with the formation.
"I thought we looked dangerous and we should have nicked a goal in the first half and Alex Nimely had a good chance in the second half which Guy Moussi blocked, so if that had gone in it would have been a different game.
“I think the wingers have been a good outlet and there has been a bit more space for the midfielders to get on the ball. It’s crucial that we win the second ball which we didn’t do in the last half an hour, but if we do win the second ball then that suits the lads we’ve got here.
“I am grateful and thankful being back in the team in a position I enjoy.
"I thought I did well against Leeds and OK again against Forest when I put some crosses in, but that’s only my second game in over a month and hopefully I will be involved again on Saturday and help us to get a win.”
