New Hope For Arena Station

There is renewed hope that the Arena may have a train station after all. A large delegation including Council leaders, MP's, City director Sir Derek Higgs and representatives from Arena Coventry met Government Transport Minister Tony McNulty during the week.

Mr McNulty has promised to review the Strategic Rail Authority decision that not enough people would use the line away from match days. Coventry City Council have enough money put aside to fund a station being built and could support it for three years.
