Former Coventry City midfielder Joe Cole has a new job.
The 37 year old retired from playing football in November and the former England international, who came to the Ricoh Arena in the twilight of a career which saw him win the Premier League and capped for England, has taken on a Technical Academy Coach role with Chelsea FC.
This will see Cole working with Chelsea U18's and other teams in their academy as well as studying for his coaching qualifications over the next six months.
Chelsea's Head Of Development Neal Bath said to the Chelsea website that Cole's experiences and football knowledge combined with his passion will help enormously with the development of the club's young players.
