A new memorial garden is to open at the Ricoh Arena today before Coventry City's final home game of the season against Sheffield United.
The Jimmy Hill Memorial Garden will be opened this afternoon at 1pm with a special service and the garden is situated next to the current memorial garden which is now full.
Some of Jimmy Hill's ashes will be spread in the garden as Jimmy's heart, according to his wife Byrony, was always in Coventry.
The garden, which has involved the Ricoh Arena who have carried out ground works, Steel Construction who have installed and generously donated ornate metal fencing, Planet Granite who created and generously donated the granite sculpture, while EH Wright & Son have provided shrubbery and foliage, will also feature a new bench paid for the Coventry City Diamond Club.
