Jordan Clarke has said that it is important that Coventry City strengthen their squad during the close season.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, the defender said: "Obviously, if he gets a striker in, or a midfielder in, or a defender in, doesn't matter really, but new players will help us all ends.
"Hopefully, when the club gets the transfer embargo lifted, hopefully as soon as possible, we all know that the manager can then get out there and do what he has to do.
"Every player always gets excited at the prospect of playing with new players and some fresh blood in the squad would really liven the place up."
