Coventry City Ladies manager Craig Nicholls has said that he was proud of his team's performance in their 3-0 win over Sporting Club Albion on Thursday night.
Nicholls, CCLFC Manager said to Matty Roper: "It was a great battling first half from the team, Albion came here to pressurise us and we dealt with it well as everybody put in a shift. It took us a while to get in to our rhythm but once we scored I felt confident we would go on to win."
"In the second half we completely ran the show, we won every ball and played some superb, fluent, attacking football which I was proud of, the defence need a mention too as they were absolutely solid. The third goal just shows the quality we have, it was a great move to cap off a well-earned victory. Roll on Sunday."
Samantha Quayle, scorer of two City goals asaid "It was a great reaction to Sunday's game tonight as we were determined to get back to winning ways. We played some exquisite football and the service me and the other attacking players received was quality. I am obviously delighted to get on the score sheet from a personal level, but it's all about the team, and tonight we were excellent."
