Former Coventry City loanee Alex Nimely has issued a plea to the Sky Blues to come and get him.
The former Manchester City player has gone absent without leave at Port Vale and his father and agent David Tchuimeni is quoted by the Coventry Telegraph as saying: “Alex would be very happy to come back to Coventry.
"I have been in touch with the club because I feel Alex is the man who could turn things around for Tony Mowbray who he knows very well. “He doesn’t want money.”
City CEO Steve Waggott confirmed that he had been in touch but said that any decision on a player who has not played since December was up to the manager.
