No Appeal For Hughes

Lee Hughes has lost his appeal over his sentence of six years for causing death by dangerous driving,according to a report in the People Newspaper.

The former City striker was told by a judge that there were insufficent grounds for an appeal.

Hughes was jailed for his part in an incident which killed Coventrian Douglas Graham. His wife Maureen survived but never recovered from the trauma and loss of her husband and died back in December.
