The centre half had been training with The Baggies following his release from West Ham United but according to the Birmingham Mail, West Brom will not be continuing their interest.
West Brom, who finished second in the Championship at the end of the season just finished, already have four defenders on their books plus Leon Barnett who is back at the club.
