Former Coventry City striker and twice manager Bobby Gould has said that he will not be able to make Sunday's Charity match at the Ricoh Arena.
Gould was due to attend the game which kicks off at 2pm but has tweeted: "Very sorry to say I will not be able to play on Sunday at The Ricoh as my Mum is in hospital after new knee replacement."
Tickets for the game on Sunday are £5 for adults and £3 for children and concessions. They are available from the Ricoh Arena ticket office on Friday (1pm to 7pm), Saturday (9am to 6pm) and Sunday (10am to 12.30pm).
Those planning to attend are urged to buy tickets in advance and to be aware that organisers can only accept cash payments.
Coventry City Former Players Association (CCFPA) have organised the match to celebrate the 130th birthday of Coventry City on August 13th and to raise money for Acorns Children’s Hospice and Cancer Research UK as well as 10 local charities.
