Championship leaders Southampton drew 1-1 at home to Southampton, whilst fourth placed Middlesbrough beat Barnsley 2-0.
Blackpool stayed fifth despite a 2-1 defeat at Derby and ninth placed Hull City drew 0-0 with Leeds United.
