Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has ended his interest in Hungarian striker Peter Poloskei.
Poloskei had spent two weeks on trial at the club, but Thorn has decided not to offer the player a contract with the club. He had played in some of the pre-season friendlies and trained with the rest of the squad.
Thorn said to the CT: "We had a good look at Peter and we did think of offering him a year’s deal with perhaps a year’s option but we decided that he didn’t quite fit with us.”
Thorn hopes to bring in a striker from a Premier League club soon.
