Micky Adams has said that he will not accept any excuses if City do not beat Queens Park Rangers today. The City boss said: "The players let themselves down and the club down last weekend and while some will have a opportunity to put that right against QPR, others will not. Because the Arena is so new to us, you could almost say it's like a fourth away game, but I wouldn't want that to be seen as an excuse if we don't do well."
Adams went on to say: "If we can get a win in what will be a great occasion in our first match at the Arena, it would be fantastic. So I'm looking forward to really roaring away and playing attacking football against QPR."
The three thousand extra tickets that went on sale yesterday morning for the opening game againt Queens Park Rangers have all been sold. Long queues formed at the ticket office in West Orchards in town as the remaining tickets were snapped up.
