No Feeling Sorry For Ourselves - Coleman

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said that the Sky Blues must not feel sorry for themselves as they take on Burnley tonight at the Ricoh Arena (Kick off 7.45pm).

City have lost their last two away games in controversial circumstances and must now make up the points lost with home wins.

"We are not doing a lot wrong and it is frustrating because we are doing enough to win games and should have more points on the table than we have," said Chris Coleman to the CT, "but we have just got to keep doing what we are doing, get the ball in the net and keep more clean sheets.

"When you are creating chances and not scoring it puts a little bit of pressure at the other end to defend harder, which is what we saw on Saturday.

"I have been saying all along that I know the players we have got will score goals when it clicks into place. It is just frustrating and what we have to do is approach this next game as if it is the most important, and three points will change everything.

"We are more than capable of doing that against a tough Burnley side. They spent a bit of money in the summer and spent quite well.

"They are a strong and organised team who are hard to break down and we know it is going to be a tough game for us.

"A 1-0 win would be great for us because we have got to make sure we keep the momentum going and stay in the top half of the league because it is so tight at the moment and one result can mean you move 10 places one way or the other.

"We have been strong at home and Burnley will be playing a good team here.

"What we can't do is feel sorry for ourselves. We played Southampton a couple of weeks ago and scored four goals but could have scored 10, and against Wolves we scored one but should have scored four, so that chips away at you. But we will keep believing.

"We have just got to stick the ball in the back of the net, it is as simple as that.

"The money end of the pitch is our box and the opposition's box and we should have defended better with the goals we conceded and we should have scored more goals from the opportunities we created."
