Frank Nouble faces an uncertain future at Ipswich Town.
Nouble's loan at Coventry City is up and according to Ipswich Town boss Mick McCarthy there has been no word on whether Steven Pressley wants to keep a striker who has not featured in the last two league matches due to the number of loanees in the side.
Our friends at Ipswich fanzine Those Were The Days, have Mick McCarthy as saying that there will be no place in his squad for Frank Nouble, Anthony Wordsworth and Paul Taylor and McCarthy said about Nouble: “I let him play in the FA Cup for them with a view that they liked him and would take him on for longer, but we’ll see.
“I thought if they’d got no interest at all in taking him then I wouldn’t have let him play in the FA Cup. They might have been telling me porkie pies but I doubt it. I think he’s done all right, Frank."
