The police in charge of Coventry City matches have said that there will be no more ticket checks in blocks 14,15,16 for the upcoming matches.
Coventry FC Police have tweeted: "Following on from the tweets on Saturday and Sunday in relation to the Luton Town match, the Ricoh Arena, CCFC and I met this morning to de-brief. It was discussed at length and following the feedback, no ticket checks will be conducted within the arena during upcoming fixtures.
"Ticket checks will continue as fans enter the stadium and before Kick Off in the concourse area as fans make their way to the correct blocks. You will see other changes in relation to steward positions on match days from Charlton. Paul Cook, Nicki Pollard and I are going to attend briefings with stewards before the Charlton match to ensure message is communicated to all staff.
"If poor behaviour and overcrowding occurs in block 14,15,16 then all checks will return."
