Coventry City captain Carl Baker said that alhough he would swap all his awards for promotion, no player has ever been more grateful, after he completed the full house of awards by cleaning up at the club's award ceremony last night.
Baker had already won the Coventry City South Wales Supporters Club, Coventry City Supporters Club Irish Branch, Coventry City London Supporters Club, Coventry City Supporters Club, Coventry City Premier Club and Coventry City Former Players Association Player Of The Year Awards when he was presented with the Top Goalscorer, Players Player and Club Player Of The Year awards at the Royal Court to make it a full sweep.
Speaking to club journalist Kieran Crowley, Baker said: “It is the best feeling in the world to be honest. To go home to your family with three awards is just incredible and it just makes me feel really appreciated here.
"I would like to thank all the fans who voted for me and no player has ever been more grateful to receive these awards."
