Franck Moussa has said that Coventry City not playing at the Ricoh Arena is one of the reasons he is leaving the club.

City boss Steven Pressley said last month about the problems of attracting players without the Ricoh Arena and the Belgian told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner about his time at the Sky Blues: “I’ll be honest and say the highs have been playing at the Ricoh.

“It’s a big stadium and it was a nice feeling for me to sign for the club because I knew that it was such a great stadium at a club with a great history.

“Other highlights are winning some of our away games like MK Dons in front of so many away fans, and that reminded me of just how big the fanbase is and how big the club was because not many teams are able to take that many people away from home.

“In terms of lows, not being able to finish the season on a high in terms of me being on the pitch or the team finishing higher in the league is a bit disappointing.

“Another low was playing at Northampton because when you know the fanbase is huge and you go and play there you know that something is not right somewhere, and you can’t really affect that on the pitch. It’s out of our control.

“But the good outweighs the bad.”
