England has missed out on the right to host the U21 European Championship in 2013.
UEFA have opted to give the Tournament to Israel ahead of England, Wales, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic. The draw for the qualifying campaign takes place at UEFA's HQ in Nyon on February 3rd.
Former Coventry City defender, now England U21's Head Coach Stuart Pearce told the FA's website: "We would like to offer our congratulations to Israel on claiming the right to host the Finals in 2013.
"We very much hope to become the only European nation to make it four consecutive finals in a row by qualifying from our group and joining Israel for the tournament in two years time."
