Coventry City Academy Coach Mark Noon is now resting up after suffering a double fracture whilst playing for Nuneaton Town in a friendly at Brackley Town last Tuesday night.
Noon, a former City reserve teamer, had an operation on Thursday and is now at home resting up.
Speaking to the CT, Nuneaton Town boss Kevin Wilkin said: "He's looked at it and done research on the recovery from an injury of that nature and there's a good recovery rate.
"So that's given Mark real heart and optimism to come back and play and get back to somewhere near the level he was. He had his op last Thursday so he is resting at home and keeping his spirits up as best he can."
All at Covsupport News Service wish Noony a speedy recovery.
