Northamptonshire Police have confirmed that for high profile Coventry City matches, they will be seeking the assistance of the West Midlands Police Football Unit and the West Midlands Police Football Liasion Officers who dealt with Coventry City matches.
The Northamptonshire Force took over policing City supporters at matches on New Years Day, due to City now being based in Northampton.
However, PC Nick Price has tweeted that he will be asking for the assistance of former City FLO PC Dave Mapp and his West Midlands colleagues for some high profile matches and added that he will still be working with PC Mapp and his colleagues (behind the scenes) for all games, home & away.
