Speaking to the CT, Coleman said: "It was nice to get the transfer window out of the way really.
"There are two sides of the coin because you are chasing to get one or two in and also trying not to lose your best ones, so from that perspective I am happy that it has gone."
"There was obviously a lot of talk about Keiren Westwood and a lot of monitoring, but I never received one bid or had any conversation with another club, and I am being genuine when I say that.
"I think there was a little bit of uncertainty because we had lost Scott Dann and Danny Fox in the summer and you get a bit nervous, so from that perspective I am glad it's over."
