Coventry City manger Steven Pressley has said form had nothing to do with him dropping for the 2-2 draw against Port Vale.
Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole: "It was nothing to do with Andy’s from – I think it’s been really good over the past couple of months – but I went with two quick centre-backs because that speed of recovery allowed us to release the full-backs.
“Although we are keen to stop giving away goals I wanted to focus on what we’re good at which is attacking with real speed.
“It meant we sacrificed some height which they could exploit but we accepted that and I thought we coped well.”
