The Creditors of Coventry City Football Club Limited will meet again on Friday to try and sort out the CVA before the Sky Blues kick off the season on Saturday, the administrator Paul Appleton has confirmed.
The meeting was adjourned on Tuesday afternoon after three hours of talks failed to produce either the signing of the CVA or the non-signing which will lead to the liquidation of CCFC Ltd and ACL, according to the Coventry Observer's Steve Carpenter, asked for one final adjournment in accordance with the Insolvency Rules 1986.
The meeting is now scheduled for 10am on Friday.
