Coventry City have signed Dominic Hyam from Reading.
The 21 year old defender, joined Reading as a twelve year old and is being seen as a squad player who will start with City U23's and see how he progesses.
Dundee born Hyam, has been on loan Portsmouth, Dagenham & Redbridge and Aldershot and speaking about him, City boss Mark Robins told the Coventry Observer: “Dominic is a strong and aggressive centre half, who comes from a very good academy set-up at Reading.
“His time there has ensured that he has all of the attributes to be a quality defender.
“He has also spent time on loan in men’s football, which is an experience which will undoubtedly benefit him and us.”
