Jim O'Brien has said that he knew that he was going to score the moment he hit a stunning shot to give City a sixth minute lead in the 2-0 win at Walsall.
Speaking to Matt Joyce, O' Brien said: "It bounced up really nicely for me so I couldn't have not hit it. After I stuck it I believed it was going in, I've hit a few from a similar range and hit the bar and the 'keeper has saved them but it's just one of those things.
"It was a great hit, I'm absolutely delighted with it. It's definitely the best goal of my career! I think it helped to settle us down after the penalty and we played really well on Saturday."
