Coventry City are to officially launch their CCFC Asia initiative on Tuesday night before the Blackpool home game.
Invited businesses will attend a launch and a reception before they watch the game.
"The directors and the advisory board recognise that we have to have stronger links with all parts of the local community and business world," said CCFC Associate Director Jas Sandhu.
"That's happening now across a number of fronts including CCFC Asia.
"City have never properly engaged with the local Asian community in the way a lot of other clubs have, but it recognises that has to be done.
"It has attempted in the past to do that but not in a strategic or concerted way. The club has asked Alan Malik and myself to look into doing that and CCFC Asia is the result.
"There are many companies run by business people with Asian backgrounds or Asian links who have never actively been involved with the football club.
"We want to showcase what CCFC has to offer from a business point of view and how it can help local companies and at the same time building lasting and meaningful links."
