Bristol Rovers have made former City midfielder Paul Trollope care-taker manager. The Gas struggling in League Two takes over from Ian Atkins who sacked just before the weekend. Trollope first job in charge was to lambast his predecessor for his management of the players.

Former City midfielder and Young Player Of The Year John Eustace is expected to be out until the New Year with a knee injury. Eustace,now at Stoke City has been plagued by injuries since he left the Sky Blues.

Lloyd Dyer who failed to impress at Highfield Road last season has joined QPR on a month's loan. The winger who is yet to play for West Bromwich Albion's first team is expected to be in Ian Holloway's squad for the game against Millwall tomorrow.
