Bristol City have given a trial to Faysal El Idrissi. The Moroccan formerly with Saarbrukken in Germany impressed during his time at the Arena,playing in the first team matches versus Leicester City and Hereford United. He rejected a one month deal offered by City and left to find a contract elsewhere.

Frankie as he was known at City played for Bristol City in a reserve team game yesterday and City boss Gary Johnson told the Ashton Gate based club's website: "We believe Faysal has some ability. "We have given him an extended trial period because we haven't been able to take a close look at him until now."
