Old Boy Returns On Trial

Coventry City have given a trial to former reserve team defender Colin Hawkins. After coming through the Academy and playing in the reserves, Hawkins was released in 1995 and played for Doncaster Rovers before going to his native Ireland to play for Shelbourne.

Hawkins appears to be one of two defenders Adrian Heath is interested in signing before the transfer window shuts but if any more money for players will haveto be found by off-loading exisiting players.
