Former Coventry City striker John Aloisi has been linked with a move back to his native Australia. The striker is coming to the end of his contract at Spanish side Alaves and A-League side Queensland Roar have expressed in the player whose goal at Australia to last year's World Cup Finals in Germany.

Brian Kerr who was twice on loan at City is to join Hibernian. The midfielder nicknamed "Juan" by a section of the Sky Blue support was at Motherwell and has signed a pre-contract agreement.

Another loanee Paul Trollope has been named League Two manager of the month. The Welshman is manager of Bristol Rovers.

Queens Park Rangers who are under Football League investigation for allegedly receiving a £500,000 loan from Oldham Chairman Simon Blitz have released Paul Furlong. The well travelled striker had been expected to be offered a player/coaching role but John Gregory decided otherwise.
