West Midlands Police have confirmed that a Coventry City fan has been given a custodial sentence for possession of a smoke bomb during the Sky Blues defeat at Notts County.
Police have said that 29 smoke bombs have been let off by City supporters this season at matches, and that one individual who was at Meadow Lane for City's defeat, was in court this week for smoke bomb related offences and given a custodial sentence of 28 days.
Police have said they are merely passing on the facts to allow supporters to make up their minds about what they will face if caught.
