The defender has been on a one year deal for the last few seasons and was offered another deal after a good end to last season.
Speaking to the club website, the former Stoke Park pupil, who came through City's Youth and Reserve team said: "I've always said I want to stay here because this is my boyhood club so I'm delighted to be here for another season.
"It's great to know I will be here for another year so now I can concentrate on getting ready for the new season when we all report for training next week."
