Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has been explaining why he has release Isaac Osbourne.
The midfielder and defender when required came through the club ranks and twice won the Covsupport News Service Young Player Of The Year Award and the club's version but suffered a knee injury fifteen months ago and has been out ever since.
Speaking to the CT, Thorn said:"He's been back training with the lads for a few weeks and been up to Aberdeen on trial which we sorted out for him, so we are trying to look after everyone and help them find something else.
"Isaac has been unfortunate with injuries and not really had a chance but we'll help him.
"He's been out a long time now but he needs a new challenge and to come back I think it will do him good to go somewhere else."
