Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that the professionalism of his players in the uncertain times facing the club have been first class.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Pressley said: “There’s a lot of negativity surrounding the football club at this moment but in terms of my players and how they are going about things; their professionalism is first class.
“Everything else is far from ideal but that’s out of our control and I am really encouraged by the way the players are going about things.
“As a football department we must focus on doing all that we can and remain professional during the pre-season by preparing in the correct manner and creating the right spirit and environment for players to prosper.
“Their attitudes have been absolutely first class – there’s a tremendous spirit and hard working mentality within the group and I’m delighted with that.
“We worked on our strategy in terms of pressurising the game and the players’ application towards that was truly brilliant, so I am really excited.
“They are in great condition and ready to play their first game."
