Robert Page thanked the 2,500 City supporters who went to West Brom on Saturday.

The City skipper who felt that the players have to take responsibility for the defeat told the CT: "As captain,I think it definitely hurts me more than most. I like to try to lead by example and when you walk off after losing like that and go and clap the fans, it is embarrassing.
"The fans were superb, they were cheering and getting involved throughout the game.

"It didn't go their way but they kept singing so all credit to them because it must have been hard sitting there watching their team get beat so convincingly.

"I take my hat off to them. As a group of players we let them down and we want to put things right at Luton."
Page is suspended for the game on Saturday after picking up his fifth booking but is expected to play for the reserves tomorrow versus Walsall as part of his punishment.
