Port Vale boss Robert Page has said that his side respect Coventry City ahead of their meeting at Vale Park this afternoon, weather permitting.
The former City defender told Valiant Player HD: “We respect what they’re all about, they’ve got some good players, they’re a good team.
“But we’ve beat Wigan, Sheffield United, Burnely in the cup, Doncaster Rovers – we won three-nil that day but it could have been six or seven.
So we know on our day we can compete with the best and Coventry are certainly one of the best in the division.
“They’re having a bad time but they’re still fifth so it’s not the worst end result for them so we’ll respect what they’re all about but it’s about us imposing our way on them.”
