Pagey At The End Of The Sky Blue Road
The centre half is expected to move on when Ray Ranson finally gets the transfer embargo lifted next week.
Apart from a few appearances on the bench as an unused sub, Page has not featured for the first team since the League Cup tie at Carlisle, where he last fourteen minutes. Fit again, he has been in superb form for City Reserves and has been man of the match in the last two games versus Walsall and Wolves.
Said Page to the CT: "It is nice to be back involved again and nice to be sub but looking at the way the injuries are, I am not getting carried away and realistically that's the only reason I am back involved.
"So as far as Coventry is concerned it looks like the end of my senior career. "The manager explained that I wasn't in his immediate plans and that's something you have to accept as a player. "For me to get games I need to get out on loan or permanent.
"I am in the last year of my contract and I am trying to get myself away to get back playing because I have never had a season like I have had this year."
"The manager has been as good as gold and there has been no problem at all, "He is one of those who tells you to your face what he wants to tell you and I respect that, and football is all about managers' opinions and I have been in the game long enough to appreciate that. "That's how football is. "Some managers like you as a player and some don't. "
