Crystal Palace could be lining up an eleventh hour bid to snatch Coventry City striker Michael Mifsud away from Bristol City.
The striker has been allowed to leave City and the Bristol City Chairman announced yesterday that the Maltese international had agreed terms and passed a medical.
Now London media sources are claiming that Palace boss Neil Warnock is interesting in the striker who scored never to be forgotten goals against Manchester United in the League Cup last season and 15 other goals.
The deal appears to be floundering on wages with Mifsud having to take a cut to sign for Bristol City whilst Palace could pay in the region of the £9k a week that he is getting playing for the Sky Blues.
