Palace Statement On Turnstile Story

Crystal Palace FC have made the following statement:
"Following allegations from some sections of the Coventry City support that visited Selhurst Park last Saturday regarding cash being taken by turnstile operators, the club would like to confirm that following an internal investigation, no further action will be taken.
CCTV footage and our own stewarding operation on matchday shows no proof that money was exchanged at the turnstiles. Since these allegations were made, one of the Coventry City supporters has contacted the club to withdraw his earlier statement and wishes to make no further comment on the subject.
The club do carry out regular checks on all areas of matchday stewarding with covert operations and zero tolerance of any person caught. The club are happy that the investigations which have taken place over this alleged incident now see the matter closed."
