Palace Will Come Looking For A Win - Boothroyd

Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that he thinks that Crystal Palace will come looking for a win in the FA Cup on Saturday when they visit the Ricoh Arena for a Third Round clash.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player at the club's weekly press conference, Boothroyd said: "We gave them problems all day down there, we created so many chances and with the save from Speroni as well as the two big decisions which went against us we still had players, (Gary) McSheffrey and Lukas (Jutkiewicz) in particular, it could have been a totally different story for us.

"With everyone now played each other, there's a hope that it will all even out and that you musn't go pinning the blame elsewhere before looking at yourselves.

"The most important thing this weekend is winning. "They have picked up a bit recently with the good result on Monday and they will be looking to go from that.

"With Dougie (Freedman, appointed caretaker manager last weekend following the departure of George Burley) going in there on the temporary, he will be looking for it to be made permanent and will be looking for the win to help him get the job.

"So with that he will look to get one over on us to help his chances."
