Paper Claims Dowie To Be Next Manager

According to today's News Of The World, Iain Dowie is to be the next Coventry City manager. The paper claims it will come as a huge shock to rivals leicester who were confident Dowie would take over at the Crisp Bowl.

The article also states: A Coventry insider said "Iain Dowie has agreed to come to us. Nothing is signed just yet but everything should be sorted in the next few days"

Elsewhere,Gary McSheffrey scored a 71st minute winner for Birmingham City in a 1-0 home win over Stoke who had John Eustace in their starting line-up. Birmingham are now second in the table.
