Parkin Bid Declined
The paper claims that although talks are on-going, City offered a £100,000 cash down bid, with a further £100,000 to follow depending on appearances and other factors.
They also asked that the 25 year old who scored five times for Ipswich in twenty appearances following a move from Swindon Town where he scored 73 goals in 142 matches, be omitted from Ipswich's team that was beaten by Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Ipswich did leave out the striker who missed five months of last season with a broken ankle as a mark of good faith.
