Hartlepool United will have to pay more if they want to keep Kevin Kyle on loan.
The Scot's loan spell in the North East is due to end this evening but although City have agreed that his loan can be extended, Ray Ranson is wanting the Monkey Hangers to pay a bigger share of Kyle's wages which are now up to £10,000 a week.
"Hartlepool have asked us to extend the deal until January and we have said "yes" but not on the current terms," said Ray Ranson to the CT.
"Kevin had done well up there and other clubs have shown an interest as a result.
Leyton Orient for whom Kyle is due to play against this afternoon are one of the clubs known to have expressed an interest.
