England U17's who are managed by John Peacock, who ran schemes for Coventry City's development scheme in the 1980's, won the UEFA U17 European Championship with a penalties win over Holland.
Peacock, who lives in Nuneaton, had guided his side to a final and saw them score first through Solanke before The Netherlands drew level before half-time.
With no more goals, the game played in Malta, went straight to penaities which England, who had former Coventry City striker Michael Mifsud watching one of their qualfying games also against Netherlands, won 4-1 with the Dutch missing two penalties.
